The suspense over who will contest as the incumbent YCP candidate from Tirupati constituency in the upcoming AP Assembly elections has come to an end. An official statement has come out from YCP that Tirupati Deputy Mayor Bhumana Abhinay Reddy will contest as YCP candidate for Tirupati Assembly seat. YCP General Secretary, South Coast Districts Coordinator Vijaya Sai Reddy visited Tirupati recently. On this occasion, Vijayasai Reddy held a meeting with the chief leaders of the four assembly constituencies of Tirupati district.
Vijaya Sai Reddy announced that Bhumana Abhinay Reddy will contest from Tirupati assembly seat in the upcoming elections. It is known that Abhinay Reddy is the son of Tirupati’s current MLA and TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. Abhinay Reddy is currently the Deputy Mayor of Tirupati Municipal Corporation. It is known that Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that these are his last elections when he did not win the 2019 assembly elections.
Bhumana Karunakar Reddy is looking to field his successor Abhinay Reddy in the upcoming elections. It is known that the YCP has officially announced Mohit Reddy, the son of current MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, as the candidate for the Chandragiri Assembly constituency in the upcoming assembly elections. But since then Bhumana followers have been waiting for the official announcement regarding Tirupati YCP ticket as well. As the name of Bhumana Abhinay Reddy has been finalized as the candidate of Tirupati YCP, his followers are in celebrations mood.
